So, to make sure each class is not just a party but a reunion, we’d like to introduce some of our Ro’Regulars. All of you inspire us, but one of our most impressive inspirations is Kesem Dalyot-Liberman. Keep reading to learn about how this superwoman lost tons of weight but gained not just muscle mass but confidence too thanks to her love of Rocycle.

Hi Kesem! Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with us today. Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Kesem, and I am originally from Tel Aviv but have lived in Amsterdam for 10 years. I came for a job, which inevitably ended after 2 years, but fell in love with the peacefulness of the city and decided to stay. One year ago, I had gastric sleeve surgery. I was 130 kg and could hardly walk up the stairs. My doctors told me that I would have to do some sport to lose weight and get stronger. I tried different gyms and activities but hated them all until I walked in Rocycle. I LOVED it from the first second. Jeff was the instructor, and the amount of love, positive motivation and fun he spread was just amazing. It really is a party on a bike. Since then, I’ve been hooked. My doctor said that the amount of weight I lost and muscle mass I gained this year is inspiring – and it’s all thanks to Rocycle.

Wow, we have chills! That is amazing. You are a hero! So, how about your friends and family? How do they fit into your Rocycle story?

Two friends of mine are training at Rocycle thanks to my recommendation, and all of my friends and family are highly impressed and supportive.

A strong sense of community is incredibly important when making big changes in life, so we’re thrilled to hear that. You’ve clearly made some big changes. Does this extend to nutrition? How do you fuel yourself on a ride day?

Yes, it does. I make my own healthy shakes every morning, and I try to have a banana an hour before training.

And when you don’t make your own, what’s your favourite smoothie from the CPJ?

The Sh*t!

It is certainly is, well, the sh*t! How does music come into play when you exercise; do you think it’s important? What motivates you most?

FOR SURE! I don’t think I could enjoy it so much without it. I love women singers and top hits.

Those are definitely good to groove to. What do you like to do to unwind from your hectic lifestyle?

I love my bikes, so biking around the Vondelpark with my headphones on is the best.

Exercising even in your down time! Now we’re even more impressed. So, finally, what does Rocycle mean to you?
