Rocycle is rapidly growing and as such we require a well organised, driven individual to manage our relationships with construction partners for delivery of new studio locations. The ideal candidate has experience within project management in the retail leisure industry and is familiar with project management tools.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships and updating construction timelines. This also includes visiting potential sites with different teams. Knowledge of the construction processes is desirable. The position reports directly to the Head of Expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships and partnerships with real estate agents in target markets 
  • Manage communications between construction partners and project management teams and update key stakeholders internally and externally on progress 
  • Update budget and timeline documents with key costings, construction milestones and follow up on outstanding tasks 
  • Updating construction timelines for internal stakeholders 
  • Attend site visits as Rocycles representative with construction and project management teams 
  • Updating tasks and dashboards in Asana for running projects 
  • Organizing and attending regular project update meetings 
  • Tracking costs and documentation associated with ongoing construction projects 
  • Managing email inbox associated with the development team 

Your profile

  • 2 – 4 years experience in project management, with a background in property management, construction or feasibility studies
  • Ideal experience in a startup environment
  • Knowledge of the retail leisure industry
  • Capable of building long lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are comfortable with change and dealing with ambiguity 
  • You like to work individually but are a keen team player
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize work 
  • Proficient with productivity software such as MS Office and ideally a good working knowledge of Asana 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferable German
  • Living in Berlin and able to travel for work regularly

About Rocycle 

Rocycle is an independent fitness company with a sincere hospitality touch. We have 6 operating studios in The Netherlands and about to expand into Europe with first openings in Germany. 

Our classes run all day long – from sunup to after sundown – 7 days a week. Pre Booking available online or in our app. We are a pay as you go studio. We don’t do contracts or hidden fees. You only pay for the classes that you actually use. The studio has everything you could want and need included with every class: cycling shoes, workout towels on your bike or mat, luxurious, hotel-style towels and amenities in the changing rooms, and showers stocked with Zenology’s organic care products.
