Rocycle keeps you happy, healthy and well outdoor.
Rocycle has a great responsibility to create a safe and healthy environment for customers, studio team and instructors. This protocol is based on the guidelines and general rules of RIVM and on protocols drawn up by the branche association and those of comparable sectors.
It is critical that measures are enforceable for all locations, employees and customers. Therefore, we would like to clarify our protocol as thoroughly and concisely as possible.
Each person (customers and staff) who comes to our outdoor classes is checked for COVID-19 symptoms by means of a questionnaire, and the body temperature is measured with a contactless thermometer.
It is not allowed for customers or employees to come to the outdoor classes if they have symptoms of a cold or flu.
The studio is only accessible to customers who have reserved a spot for the outdoor class through the website or apps. The maximum capacity is 25 customers and 1 instructor.
At all times, the names of all customers will be registered in Zingfit through the usual booking system, to ensure that we always know who is in our class and that we have a register of all customers who attended each class.
At all times a distance of 1.5 meters between persons is mandatory.
Spots are marked on the ground by stickers to ensure a 1.5 meter distance at each location where customers can check-in.
When customers want to purchase water or credits, only PIN transactions are allowed. The PIN machine is cleaned after every transaction. At Strandzuid there is no option to purchase water.
There will be no seating options in the locations.
The bikes and equipment will be placed outside the studio every day and will be placed back inside after the outdoor classes have finished.

Customers must come to the studio or outdoor class in their sportswear with a filled water bottle. The changing rooms, showers and water fountains are not available to use.
Customers must bring their own sports towel.
Only customers who have reserved a bike can access the location.
Customers can enter the studio one by one, keeping 1.5 meters distance at all times.
Before entering the location, the customer must disinfect his hands.
Our front office employees will check customers in at the front desk/at the bar.
Customers can arrive no more than 15 minutes in advance before class starts, and no less than 5 minutes.
During the check, each customer is asked the following question:
– Have you had any of the following complaints in the last 14 days?
– Fever above 38 degrees
– Difficulty breathing
– Cough or cold
When a customer answers “yes” to one of the above questions, the front office employee will ask him or her to leave.
Disinfected shoes will be made available to the customer by our front desk employees.
Customers can use designated bags to store their personal belongings next to their bike.
Customers are asked to go to their designated bike immediately after checking in. They will put the shoes on outside, next to their bike.
Customers must leave within 5 minutes after the outdoor class ends.
Employees go through the same procedure when starting work as customers. The COVID-19 symptoms questionnaire is checked and the temperature is measured.
A plexiglass screen will be installed across the entire width of the reception in each studio.
Employees must come to the location in their work clothes.
Employees are required to wear gloves at all times.
No more than 3 studio workers and 1 instructor may be present in the studio at the same time.
Disinfectant hand gel is available in every studio.
Each employee must disinfect their hands before and after a break, cleaning, eating, traveling and entering and leaving the studio.
There will be a 30 minute break between each class.
Instructors must follow a new safety protocol, including additional hygiene rules. The setup of their equipment is done outside the studio.
Instructors will use personal headsets provided by Rocycle.
We will work with a silent disco – no music will be played out loud.
All silent disco headphones will be disinfected after each class.
Instructors and customers will be asked not to raise their voice during the class.
All studios have disinfectant spray, wipes and paper towels available for extra cleaning.
The equipment, including the bike and the shoes, will be disinfected after each class.
When it is raining the outdoor sessions will be cancelled.
Dumbbells, bikes and shoes are disinfected and cleaned after each outdoor class.
Instructors must disinfect their own station and supplies (ipad/laptop, headset and bike) before and after each outdoor class.
Door knobs, lockers, toilets and water taps are disinfected every 30 minutes by the studio team.
Each location holds one manager responsible for all COVID-19 related measures and checks.
