Roform
FAQ - ROFORM
In this FAQ we will walk you through all the information you need to know about our new concept: Roform.
Q: What is Roform?
A: Roform is pilates inspired high intensity full body strength workout on custom made reformer machines. Control, tempo, power and precision are at the core of Roform. During these 50-minute classes, you’ll improve posture, build foundational strength, increase mobility and, of course, balance the mind. Though each class has a central focus (think upper body, core or glutes), you’ll work every last muscle as you flow through the movements.
Roform is more than a workout. It’s a revolution.
Shake. Burn. Build.
Q: How is Roform different from traditional reformer pilates?
A: Pilates is a mind body practice, designed to bring us back into our body and into the present. This is the core of what we do in our studios. We also know that workouts should be fun and inspiring! So expect the music to drive you, for the instructor to push you for those last pulses and to walk out feeling strong and alive.
Q: Where is the Roform studio?
A: You can find us in the basement of the Rotterdam City Rocycle studio and at the Brussels Ixelles studio.
Q: Are there different types of Roform classes?
A: For now, we will offer one class type. But we like to keep things new and exciting. So in the upcoming months you will keep seeing improved and different types of classes on the schedule.
Q: Can everybody join Roform?
A: Yes, everyone can go to Roform. We offer classes that are open for all levels. We encourage you to adjust your pace to your own level.
Q: Do I have to wear grip socks?
A: Yes, grip socks are mandatory. You can bring your own, or buy Roform grip socks at the studio for €12.
Q: Can I wear jewelry during class?
A: No. For safety reasons, no jewelry is allowed on the reformers.
Q: What do I wear to a Roform class?
A: Feel free to wear what you want to your class. We prefer to wear tights or shorts and a t-shirt or sports bra, but the sky’s the limit – express yourself! No need to bring your trainers, we have cycle shoes for you to wear. We kindly ask you to dress appropriately and to not wear provocative clothing.
